Knock, Knock. Who's There? Domino's.

Two different pieces of news today:

I Hear You Knockin', But You Can't Come In
In what is the logical extension of the Do Not Call Registry, Shelby Township officials are expected to pass a "Do Not Knock" law tonight, making it a criminal misdemeanor for a for-profit company to engage in door-to-door solicitation at houses signed up on the "no knock" list. Like the "Do Not Call" program, political and religious solicitation are permitted under the notion that the First Amendment explicitly protects religious and political speech, but perhaps not commercial speech. Violators of the prospective law face the maximum penalty of a $500 fine, 90 days in jail, or both (to me, 90 days jail time seems pretty harsh). You can read more about Shelby's program here.

Want Some Pizza With That Pyramid?
According to the AP, David Brandon (better known as the CEO of Domino's Pizza and Republican Member of the UM Board of Regents) has joined Republican Dick DeVos' (of Amway/Quixtar/Alticor/Pyramid Scheme-esque wealth) campaign for Governor, which Brandon will Chair. Brandon has ties in the Southeastern Michigan business community, which he will hope to mobilize for DeVos. You can read more about Amway's business practices here or watch a video from Dateline NBC on Quixtar/Amway here.

There is no such thing ... it is either MLM or a pyramid ... one or the other. A pryamid would pay you only for sponsoring More people into the pyramid. Quixtar pays you to push its products ...... You are basically being paid to advertise. It isn't get rich quick ...... nor will anyone in the business say that. It is hard wok .... sometimes very hard work. It is a commitment. Simple.
Does Hard work always lead to success ... not always. You may fail ...... but will you learn, get up and work harder? If not then you will keep falling ..... If yes, then eventually success will come to you.

It's a simple rule rule of life ... not only in Quixtar .... Reap what you sow.

Amway is the problem! There are other companies who do it a lot simpler. Globalnet lets you order directly through quixtar and quixtar cuts ur paycheck, not your upline and you don't have to use ur own middleman...That defeats the whole purpose of the system.

Quixtar is a waste of time and money... I would just as soon go to Wal Mart to buy my Cheerios and toilet paper, sorry... just like most people.
