Spy Shots: Chrysler Sebring Convertible!
Over in Auburn Hills today, I caught a few quick looks at a new concept for one of DaimlerChrysler's newest baby's...the Chrysler Sebring. But what makes these pics special from what you've seen before at Allpar, Jalopnik or even the vaunted autoblog...is that this is the convertible.
According to Allpar, the next gen Sebring (as well as the Dodge Stratus / Avenger), expected in June 2006, will be based on the Mitsubishi Galant platform, with Chrysler playing the "engineering lead". The sedan is also going to use a Chrysler V6 for some Jeremy Clarkson "POWERRRR!" or you can go with the James May "quite quaint" V4.
The Chrysler convertible version is most likely the version captured here...with some clear Crossfire-styling that the pictures don't do justice.

These convertible pics look like a soft top. I was thinking the Sebring would be a hard top coupe/convertible. Comments for the picture pro?
