You've Got To Pray, Frank Turner

So WXYZ-TV news anchor Frank Turner wants me to pray for divine intervention to sway Channel 7 to allow him to host a religious radio show on Christian WEXL-AM, huh? Well, I'm fairly certain Channel 7 may allow him to have all of the time he needs, because the attorneys are most likely working round-the-clock to get him off of their payroll as quickly as possible.

Not like I should talk though. I spout off all of the time here on this site and elsewhere, so maybe its a bit of the pot calling the kettle something. And please don't think I have a problem with conservative Christians / Evangelical Christians. I think it is more that I don't like it when people take these type of internal discussions into the public. I kind of feel like that's an inappropriate thing to be doing, but maybe that's just me.

As an evangelical/conservative Christian, I agree with you, Wonk. Turner publicly is asking people to pray so Channel 7 will release him from his contractual responsibilities so he can do radio work. This smacks off self-dealing and personal enrichment in the name of the Almighty. NOT virtues that Christians should strive for.

Frank-
I love you but-
I think you are on self-destruct-
Get over this wexl thang for god's sake-
Think of your family- and how much better off they would be if you stay at wxyz- and think of how much more you could do for Jesus-
with 10% of that big wxyz check!
And Frank- the EEOC doesn't do contract law-
Go! Beg Grace for forgiveness- YOu can do the Jesus thang on the week end!!!
